Samantha has spent her entire life at Chameleon Theatre Collective. Her dad, Sebastian, founded it, so she hasn't really had a choice. But when she and the rest of the company find out that Sebastian plans to sell the storefront theater to real estate developers, they discover their world is not as stable as they’d once thought.

Unfolding over two days as the company plans what will now be their final gala together, our film is a found family’s reckoning with what it means to love something that can’t love you back.

Through its eclectic cast of characters, Regret Like That explores the highs and lows of Chicago storefront theatre with humor, drama, and, ultimately, grace.
